On this day over 160 years Aboriginal warrior and leader Dundalli was executed in Brisbane. While he was a resistance fighter for over a decade, he was seen as a murderer and a criminal by the colonial authorities.
On the 5th of January each year a small number of dedicated people remember his life and death at Post Office Square where he was executed. It is hoped that as more history becomes known, more people will remember him.
