The winner of the 2015 National NAIDOC poster competition has been announced. Congratulations to Elaine Chambers on the winning design.

This year’s theme, We All Stand On Sacred Ground reinforces our commitment to understanding that wherever we work we are on Aboriginal land. It reminds me of a line from a Tiddas song – Little Things” where it says

It’s easy to forget when you’re lookin from the window of a Melbourne tram,

A living history beneath the concrete of the city streets of which we walk upon

You can find out more about the artist, the design, the 2015 theme, and order a free 2015 NAIDOC poster for your organisation and classroom from the National NAIDOC Organisation.
